    We are looking for a


    Senior Solar Project Manager (m/f) – AWS Truepower, a UL Company





    We would expect your primary duties will include:

    • Manage high profile Independent Engineering and Technical Advisory projects for project financing, sales and acquisitions primarily for solar projects and portfolios (including wind), overseeing solar technology review, civil and electrical design review, review of commercial and technical contracts, project schedule, project financial model, CAPEX and OPEX costs, environmental and permitting review, site visits and construction monitoring.
    • Compile and complete IE and TA reports and summarize key results and conclusions. Ensure a quality of work that meets and exceeds client expectations. Integrate all review sections from UL-AWST and subconsultants’ multi-disciplinary team and ensure that UL-AWST’s technical and commercial analysis is consistent throughout sections.
    • Prepare proposals detailing scope of work, team, budget and schedule for completion.
    • Work with internal resources, associate project managers, project managers, as well as sub-consultants. Ensure project deliverables stay on time, on target, and on budget.
    • Manage and schedule internal resources as well as subconsultants. Ensure project deliverables stay on time, on target, and on budget.
    • Work with Lenders and Developers as the main client interface for AWST. Attend client meetings with lenders and developers as needed.
    • Perform portions of required contract reviews, studies and analysis and draft IE and TA report sections, depending on project need and candidate’s core competencies.
    • Prepare communication plan and related project status reports. Facilitate and lead regular status meetings with internal project team, sponsors, and stakeholders.
    • Work with multi-disciplinary team to identify project risks, barriers, and issues and propose possible solutions and mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure the use of best practices and apply lessons learned from previous projects.
    • Review of project contracts and financial models.
    • Perform site visits during construction and operation and perform monthly construction monitoring site visits to review progress against technical specifications, budget and milestone schedule. Compile and review site visit reports and monthly construction monitoring reports.
    • Support AWST’s due diligence cost databases including providing updates from project datasets.
    • Represent UL-AWST at conferences and business development meetings as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.Location: This position will be located in Barcelona, Spain.Travel: Travel will be required up to 25% sporadically. Current driver's license required and capability to complete necessary travel, including to foreign countries.

    We are looking for:


    University Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology plus more than 5 years directly related work experience. Detailed knowledge of the technical vocabulary common to the appropriate discipline. Working knowledge of standards in use in areas of expertise.
