  • Lead global market research and analysis including regulatory landscape to identify and prioritise the growth opportunities and potential acquisition targets.
  • Assess the structure, size and profitability, drivers of performance, trends, the outlook of industrial electrification and digitalisation of energy systems in order to identify the potential acquisition targets related to testing, inspection and certification services
  • Analysing the competitive landscape, target's relative financial performance, target's relative offer position
  • Performs market sizing, segmentation, supply and demand analysis, growth estimation and price analysis
  • Leads Energy & Industrial Automation Long-Range Planning activities.


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics; Master's degree in Business Administration from an accredited university is preferred.
  • Minimum of eight years of work experience in market research and analysis including a strong understanding of statistical methods and their application to data analysis
  • Global experience focused in the energy or industry automation with the ability to conduct a thorough analysis of potential acquisition targets, including assessing the market landscape (structure, size and profitability, drivers of performance, trends, outlook), the target's competitive position (competitive landscape, target's relative financial performance, target's relative offer position).
  • Strong proficiency with MS Excel, Capital IQ (or similar)
  • Strong technical background with Power Utilities, Distributed Energy Resources, Renewable, Industrial Automation will be a plus point.
  • Ability to work accurately and quickly to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and presentational)
